Product Manufacturing Process
1. Coconut Harvesting
We select ripe coconuts to use as raw materials.
2. Initial Washing
We perform an initial wash with water to remove impurities and salt from the coconut husk fibers.
3. Initial Drying
The material is dried to reduce moisture content after washing.
4. Crushing
The dried coconut husk fiber is crushed to create uniform particles.
5. Secondary Washing
The crushed fiber is washed again to completely remove any remaining impurities and salt.
6. Secondary Drying
The remaining moisture after washing is removed, preparing the material for storage and transportation.
7. Finished Coconut Coir
The finished coconut coir is packaged in various forms, such as blocks, chip mixes, and grow bags.
8. Transportation
The packaged products are shipped worldwide in bulk.
Samwoo Chemicals works directly with large-scale export facilities in India, the world’s largest producer of coconut coir, to ensure a stable supply of only verified, high-quality raw materials.
Rather than simply importing products, we set quality standards from the production stageto guarantee specifications tailored to our customers’ needs.
Samwoo Chemics does more than just supply blocks.
We recommend the optimal specifications based on the crop and growing conditions.
While Sri Lankan products emphasize high quality and Vietnamese products emphasize price competitiveness, the Indian-sourced coconut coir from Samwoo Chemicals (
)offers the advantageof a “balance between quality and price.”
With price advantages based on mass production and quality verified to international standards
→ it is a reasonable choice that satisfies both criteria simultaneously.

Coco Peat 650g / 5kg Blocks
Samwoo Chemicals’ Coco Peat Blocks (5kg) and Coco Bricks (650g) are eco-friendly horticultural growing media made by compressing 100% natural coir derived from coconut husks. They undergo a three-step washing process to reduce salinity and electrical conductivity (EC), maintaining a stable pH and clean quality to provide an environment optimized for root development and plant growth. With excellent aeration and water retention, they are effective for moisture retention and soil structure improvement, and are 100% biodegradable, making them environmentally friendly.
The 5kg coco peat blockallows for various particle size combinations, making it suitable for professional and large-scale applicationssuch as horticulture, floriculture, potting mix production, and animal bedding.
The 650g brickexpands to 7–8 liters when water is added, making it convenient for home gardening and small-scale cultivation, such as in flower pots, for seed germination, balcony gardens, and decorative baskets.
The blend of husk chips and coconut fiber makes it suitable for a wide variety of crops.
Consult with Samwoo Chemix to create a coco peat block optimized for your specific crops.

Coco 650g / 5kg Block
Both the Coco Chips Block (5kg) and Coco Bricks (650g), derived from coconut husks, are eco-friendly, coconut-based horticultural growing media. Both products offer excellent aeration and moisture management to support plant root growth, and are made from 100% renewable resources, making them ideal for sustainable gardening.
Coco Chip Blocks (5kg) consist of finely chopped coconut husks, offering excellent air circulation and drainage, and boasting a durability of up to 35 years. They are widely used as a substitute for pine barkin the floriculture and horticulture sectors, as well as for growing orchids and foliage plants. Particle sizes range from 6mm to 20mm and can be supplied to order.
Coco Bricks (650g) are compressed coconut coir blocks that expand to 7–8 liters when water is added, making them easy to use. They improve both water retention and soil aeration and are suitable for a variety of environments, including germination trays, flower pots, home gardens, and hydroponics.

Open-top Grow Bags are coconut coir and coconut chip-based growing media designed in an individual pot-style structure. With an open top, theyallow for direct plantingand are easy to install and maintain, making them widely used for small-scale cultivation, various crops in greenhouses, and gardening on terraces and balconies. The mixing ratioof coconut coir and chips can be adjustedto enable customized cultivation tailored to crop characteristics, and they allow for efficient placement even in small spaces.
Composition: Offers various blends including coco peat, coco chips, and coir fiber
Features: Excellent aeration and drainage; suitable for hydroponics and greenhouse cultivation
Advantages: High space utilization allows for efficient cultivation on terraces, balconies, and in greenhouses
Suitable Crops: Tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, eggplants, lemons, soft fruits such as strawberries, leafy vegetables, cut flowers, and houseplants

Unlike open-top grow bags, flat-bed grow bags are designed in a mat-like format, making them ideal for large-scale, professional cultivation in greenhouses and grow houses. By blending coarse and fine-grained coconut coir, they provide the optimal balance of aeration and water retention necessary for root development, making them particularly suitable for row-planted cropssuch as tomatoes and strawberries. While open-top products offer the convenience of individual pots and are well-suited for small-scale cultivation, flat-bed grow bags allow for customized design of planting spacing, dripper placement, and drainage holes, making them advantageousfor professional farms seeking to maximize cultivation efficiency and productivity. Additionally, they are highly durableand can be used for 3 to 5 years; after use, they are 100% biodegradableand can be disposed of in an eco-friendly manner.
